STILL, RELEASE AND LIBERATION
The sound art installation Still, Release and Liberation, was inspired by the stories from the original oral history interviews of the community health workers and advocates. It was created by Bianca Mońa, a Barbados-based artist, curator and scholar currently pursuing doctoral studies at the University of the West Indies, CaveHill, Barbados.
A second version of this sound art installation incorporates visualizations, creating a series of short experimental films, written and directed by Bianca Mońa, with art direction and design by Amanda Barnes, Arts Alchemist with IofC USA.
