CityWide Healing Circle

As an organization that has long been dedicated to interrupting cycles of violence with cycles of healing, IofC USA calls our beloved Richmond community together to heal and discern as we continue our I AM HERE community healing circles following the tragic shooting at Altria Theater during Huguenot High School’s Graduation.  Our deepest condolences to those impacted by the loss of life and the complexity of harm dealt by this shooting and the cycle of gun violence that has been far too prevalent in our community. 

May the many lives that our city has lost from this tragic shooting and throughout our city over the years from Monroe Park to Mosby Court inspire all of us as a city and society to do the spiritual, societal, and yes systemic homework that have been divinely assigned to each of us in this moment in order to graduate from this cycle of violence in our city and beloved community. 

We will be hosting an I AM HERE community wide healing circle along with Dr. Ram Bhagat and the Drums No Guns Foundation, Community Unity in Action, and other healing practitioners in our city in Monroe Park on Friday July 7th at 5:30pm. 

I AM HERE is a citywide healing circle to provide sacred safe spaces for healing and transcending the cyclical impacts of gun violence in our communities. Wherever your “here” is, join us as we hold space for healing the diversity of wounds that have harmed our beloved community due to Gun Violence. We hope to see you in the circle.
