Dive into the Official #WAVES2020 Playlist

Today is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the first day of our National Day of Racial Healing celebrations. Over the next few weeks we head into #WAVES2020, exploring how our personal stories ripple into deeply communal histories, lapping and forming global systems and structures. By stepping into how our human stories came to be, we also are surrounded by the waves of migration, culture, identity, labor, and how these interconnected experiences shift across time and space.

With our Featured Artist, Blitz “The Ambassador” Bazawule, we look toward multidisciplinary ways - such as visual art, music, and film - to tell more fuller and inclusive stories about humanity. We believe that art and music form powerful resources for connection, community, expression, dialogue and understanding. With this in mind, the Initiatives of Change USA team is excited to share a special playlist we have created expressly for National Day of Racial Healing featuring a range of globally conscious grooves.

We invite you to dive in and join us for one or all of #WAVES2020.
