Reckoning with Hard Racial Truths: The Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

As we see systemic racism is on full display in the results of the pandemic and Jan. 6th’s insurrection to sustain racist white power structures. The words of Dr. King and the warnings he gave show through in the global uprisings against police brutality and systemic racism. It is clear that Dr. King’s questions in ‘Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community’ are still pertinent today. What is the condition of Dr. King’s dream today and what is our role in making it a reality?
