Tools for Dealing & Healing with Trauma Launches this February for Alumni
Introduction
The world we live in is packed with action. We are involved and invested in several activities for the improvement of self and society. We strive to meet our personal needs and work on bettering society at large. We build systems and structures that are supposed to take care of one another. We set goals and targets and keep aiming to reach them. We interact with one another to fulfill our desires. We are often satisfied when our needs are met. We are disappointed when we fail to achieve them. In this process there are several unexpected, unpleasant moments causing trauma. At times they leave an indelible mark on our minds and we don’t know how to deal with them. This course will provide a window to understand trauma and help with tools to deal with it. This is not a course on trauma healing where therapy is conducted. It will introduce the learner to the concepts of trauma and build a tool kit to deal and heal trauma.
What to expect?
The course aims to bring about a clear understanding of trauma. The objective of the program is to introduce ways to identify trauma and deal with it using simple techniques to support those affected by trauma.
