Amanda Barnes, Arts Alchemist with Initatives of Change USA launches a multimedia project this month exploring racial identity, home, and cultural imagination titled will you be my Neighbor? 

A question as well as an invitation. Amanda takes us on a journey into the beltway of relationships, focusing intently on one's proximity, perspective, and expression with other living beings.

will you be my Neighbor? dives into Richmond, and looks at how this space operates as a beautiful home to imagination and creative cultures. By connecting a sundry of creators - photographers, graphic designers, business owners, historians, and so many others - will you be my Neighbor? will seek to unearths how neighborhoods are always changing and co-created by its inhabitants. What can be discovered about how neighborhoods are integrally woven in Black creative journeys?
