Your Vote, Your Voice.

A critical part of creating the change we seek is exercising our rights as global citizens in the voting process. This is not the only step towards transformation but part of the multifaceted work necessary for liberation. We encourage all those who are able to use your power to vote in the U.S. elections on November 3rd and make your voice heard.

Over the last few months, we hosted three community town halls that focused on voter advocacy and unpacked the history of voter rights movement led by marginalized communities and how elections impact criminal justice reforms, education, police and state enforcement measures, and much more.

Initiatives of Change USA partnered with The Life Church to discuss the important millennial voter and its potential impact on the November 2020 Elections. This is the third townhall on preparing voters for active engagement in the upcoming elections. Join our three actively engaged panelists to discuss their motivation for support of community engagement that is a part of their everyday lives. Listen to their thoughts on voting as a means of making a powerful difference on connecting the concerns of crime, criminal justice, education and investments to address social challenges. It remains our goal to bring new citizens into the political process and to ignite the largest young voter turnout ever in the history of our country. We invite you to bring all your enthusiasm and ideas to this interactive conversation about the importance of voting in November. While the approach of the younger voter’s civic engagement might be different from their parents, we think that all of Virginians share the same basic philosophy that in these uncertain times, all of us need to exercise our right to vote.
