Initiatives of Change International’s Trustbuilding Program Wins Intercultural Innovation Award 2021

Congratulations to Initiatives of Change International’s Trustbuilding Program in receiving the Intercultural Innovation Award at an award ceremony during the Dubai Expo. This special award is a partnership between the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and the BMW Group, with the support of Accenture. ⁠ 

According to IofC International, “the award will accelerate the Trustbuilding Program’s work of creating a foundation for lasting peace for communities around the world through the establishment of trust”. 

The Trustbuilding Program was in part inspired by the curriculum of IofC USA’s Community Trustbuilding Fellowship (CTF). The Program is international with projects based in Australia, Indonesia, Nepal, South Africa, Canada, Kenya and France and will expand to 3-6 additional countries through 2023. The Trustbuilding Program also works with IofC USA alumni through the Global Alumni Initiative (GAIN).
