MAY 2023 EVENTS

We are excited to collaborate with the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond's Jewish Community Relations Committee and, the Baptist Ministers Conference of Richmond and Vicinity on two May Events.

On May 4th we will have Toward A Double Victory: Black and Jewish Community Relations" a Community Conversation with Mallory Noe-Payne and Michael Paul Williams on Thursday, May 4th at 6:30 PM. This will be held at the Branch Museum one of our Intersecting History partners. Free parking is available in the First Baptist Church lot adjacent to The Branch. There are entrances to the parking lot from Park Avenue and Robinson Street. There is a gated entrance to our front courtyard through the brick wall bordering the parking lot. Please help us preserve the street parking for our neighbors by parking in this lot.

On May 7th we will have our Collective Journey with Elegba Folklore Society's presentation of In The Beginning...Virginia, Along the Trail of Enslaved Africans. This cultural history tour informs while paying homage. The experience will end with a chance for participants to meet each other and share light refreshments at the Virginia Holocaust Museum, another one of our Intersecting History Partners.

We can’t wait to see all of you there, as we dive into conversations and history
