February’s Black History Month is a 365-day ritual in acknowledgement, re-membering, connection, and celebration. Arts Alchemist, Amanda Barnes, created an artwork to signify this very sentiment.⠀⠀

The African American story explodes with layers of many designs. It is beautiful and it is ours as long as we take hold of the narrative for ourselves with pride. Despite the multiple years that made up 2020, let this month and the rest of 2021 be beautiful, enchanting and exciting. Happy Black History Month!
